Tree Support Cable

Not all branch junctions are created equal. As seen in the diagram below, some branch junctions grow too tightly and cannot fully fuse together. Bark is trapped between the limbs which creates an extremely week connection. These Junctions are prone to failure under snow, wind or mechanical stress, as seen in the photo below. If these do not get pruned out when the tree is young, this junction is prone to failure for the remainder of the trees life. Installing a cable support system is the best solution for these structural defects. Cobra Cable is a dynamic cable that moves with the tree but absorbs the shock when the tree flexes too much. Cobra cable is a non-invasive support that allows for tree growth and normal movement.
